Use & Care Info

Please read the following USE & CARE information before using your LOOKR Cookware to ensure you’ll enjoy many years of superior cooking performance.

BEFORE your first use:

  1. Wash the pan by hand in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly
  2. Wipe the interior surface with a small amount of cooking oil on a paper towel, then wipe it off

ALWAYS remember to:

  1. Use nylon, wooden or silicone tools to preserve the pan’s properties
  2. Clean the pan after use
  3. Wash by hand as today’s aggressive detergents might harm your pan’s properties

Make sure you NEVER:

  1. Cut food inside the pan
  2. Leave an empty pan on the hot stove or inside an oven
  3. Allow your pan to become overheated
  4. Put the hot pan under cold water
  5. Use the pan in a microwave cooker
  6. Clean the pan with metal scrapers

For YOUR personal SAFETY:

  1. Always use caution when carrying a full pan, as hot food might spill off
  2. Never grab handles without an oven glove, or having tapped them first to make sure they’re not hot
  3. Never leave children unattended in the vicinity of hot cookware

* Glass lids:

  1. Refrain from use if any visible scratches, cracks or chips appear
  2. Never use directly on a heat source
  3. Never wash a hot lid directly under cold water, allow to cool first
  4. Never use in a conventional oven at temperatures higher than 180° C / 350° F
  5. Because of the tight fit of the lid, vacuum might form when the pot cools down
  6. Should this happen, heat up again until it is possible to remove the lid

How to cook with LOOK’s Energy-saving Technology.

LOOK Cookware’s lightweight alloy boasts extremely high thermal properties, which means you’ll be able to use lower heat settings than you might be accustomed to and save on your energy bills!

Please take the following settings into account:

  1. Use LOW heat for simple warming or simmering
  2. Use MEDIUM heat for frying, sautéing or stir frying
  3. Use HIGH heat for browning only. Once the food is browned turn back to low

Remember the size of the pot or the pan should always match the relevant stove.

Switch off the heat when appropriate and take advantage of the heat accumulated in the base.
When cooking on a gas stove never allow the flames to stretch over the sides of your pan.
